SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING
April 28, 2007
The School Committee held a retreat on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Staff Training Room, Third Floor, Town Hall. Chairman Wynn called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.
Members Present: Karen Adelman Foster, Anne Blanchard, Dirk Coburn, Stephen Meyler, David Murphy, Rick Wynn, Anne LaPlace Zernicke
Members Absent: None.

PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION: ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND CRITICAL LEGAL ISSUES REGARDING SCHOOL COMMITTEES IN GENERAL
Chairman Wynn welcomed and introduced Glenn Koocher, the Executive Director of the MASC, and Naomi Stonberg, the attorney for the Natick School Committee. Mr. Connolly expressed his and the committee’s appreciation that Ms. Stonberg and Mr. Koocher were contributing their time and expertise at no charge.
