Proposed Noise By-Law
The Safety Committee held a special meeting to discuss the proposed by-law regulating noise. After some comments by members of the committee proposing the by-law, the committee expressed concern over the difficulty of implementation and enforcement of the proposed by law. Chief Mannix suggested an alternative which he believed would satisfy the needs of the police department and some of the issues concerning unregulated noise.
The committee VOTED to ask Chief Mannix to prepare an alternative motion for Town Meeting.
