New Business:
Request for the installation of a "No Outlet" sing on Fox Hill Drive: Chief Mannix received a petition, signed by twenty-four residents of Fox Hill Drive, requesting the installation of a "No Outlet" sign at the beginning of their road to prevent stray vehicles from traveling on Fox Hill Drive, looking for a way to cut through the neighborhood. Request to relocate the crosswalk on Oak Street at Sunshine Avenue: A request was received from Sgt. The committee VOTED to make this recommendation as well as to erect high visibility pedestrian crossing signs at the new location.
Request for the installation of a "No Right on Steady Red Light" on Hayes Street at East Central Street was made from Deputy Chief Slattery of the Natick Fire Department: The committee VOTED to make the recommendation to the Board of Selectmen in support of the installation of a "No Right Turn On Steady Red" to be positioned on the mast arm in the middle of the intersection.
Request for signage on North Avenue at the Commuter Rail "JFK Taxi 508-653-4500": The committee determined this issue would be better handled by the Planning Board and redirected the issue to Patrick Reffett, Community Development Director.
Request to make the intersection of Bacon Street and Marion Street a three-way stop: The committee VOTED to deny making this recommendation to the Board of Selectmen.
Request for the relocation of the new "Stop" sign on West Street at Campus Drive, making the northeast end of West Street a two-way street: The committee VOTED to table this issue pending further discussion at next month's meeting.
