TOWN OF NATICK
VACANCY
ELIOT SCHOOL RFP COMMITTEE
The Natick Board of Selectmen is seeking applications from residents who wish to serve on a committee to develop a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the disposition of the former Eliot School. Pursuant to a vote of Town Meeting, the RFP may seek proposals for sale or for long-term lease of the property, or may provide for a means of comparing both options. Applicants should have experience in the sale and/or lease of commercial real estate, including a demonstrated ability to position the property and the disposition thereof to ensure maximum return for the Town. Three residents will be selected to serve on the committee; the membership will also include the Town Administrator, a member of Historic District Commission, a representative of the Finance Committee and a representative of the Planning Board.
The Board intends to interview candidates for the Eliot School RFP Committee at their meeting of November 30, 2009. Anyone interested in serving in this capacity is asked to submit a letter of interest or a Committee Application form found on the web site at NatickMA.gov to the Board of Selectmen’s Office, 13 East Central Street, Natick, MA by Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
