Board of Trustees Meeting

Administration Present: Paula Polk, Library Director
Jane Finlay, Assistant Director

1. The Board voted to adopt an updated patron Internet Usage Policy dated 5/13/08 and have such posted in the appropriate locations in the library.
2. Paula Polk reported on the upgrading of the Children's Room where painting and the installation of new
carpeting has taken place. She discussed the need for repair and repainting of the windows of the original
building.
3. The Board, at Ms. Polk's request, will review the job description of the vacant Community Relations Grant
Coordinator.
4. Ms. Finlay provided a report on the possibility of examining our ADA responsibilities and an extensive
discussion ensued.
5. Ms. Finlay described a number of upcoming events including the library's own "Spelling Team" which will
participate in the Natick Education Foundation's Spelling Bee on Thursday, May 14th at the High School.
On June 7 and 8 the library will have a team participating in the Walk for Life at the High School.
6. The President reported that the Natick Town Meeting approved without question the library's two revolving
funds.
The next meeting of the Board of Trustees will be held on June 10, 2008 at 4:00 pm in the Community Room of the Library.
