BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
MORSE INSTITUTE LIBRARY

Call to Order: 4:00 pm
1. The Board voted to send letters of appreciation to Ms. Abby Reidy and Ms. Deborah Kelsey. Abby Reidy has resigned to accept a position with a private school as a librarian and teacher. Deborah Kelsey is also leaving to accept a position as the Director of the Medfield Library.
2. The Board voted to send a letter of commendation to Ms. "Charlie" Ching with a copy to the Town of Natick Administrator.
3. Ms. Finlay reviewed the need to hire a consultant to work with staff on personnel issues.
4. Ms. Finlay described the computer management system that the library is acquiring.
5. The staff is preparing material for the auditor to work on the FY08 audit.
6. The President thanked the members of the Community Relations Selection Committee (Ms. Finlay, Ms. Smith, Ms. Donovan & Ms. Dennis) for their work in interviewing the candidates.
7. Ms. Finlay reported on the Mass Memories Program scheduled for later September.

The next meeting of the Board of Trustees will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 in the Community Room of the library.
