Veterans’ Services Officer/ADA Coordinator

The Town of Natick, population 32,170, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Veterans’ Services Officer/ADA Coordinator.  Pursuant to Article 7, Section 7-10, of the Natick Charter, notice is hereby given of the vacancy in said position.  

This full-time position is in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws.  Candidate must be an honorably discharged U.S. Veteran and have considerable knowledge of State and Federal laws and administrative regulations relating to financial and other benefits for veterans and dependents.  Also must have working knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Environmental Health Agent

Natick Board of Health

The Town of Natick Board of Health is seeking a highly responsible and experienced professional for the position of Environmental Health Agent.  Responsibilities include field inspections including but not limited to food establishments, nuisance complaints, housing, pools, camps, septic systems etc., plan review and administrative work in the office and field relating to all aspects of environmental health, sanitation and enforcement of the state sanitary codes and local regulations.  Bachelor’s Degree in public or environmental health or related field plus a minimum of two years experience in a public or private agency dealing with public or environmental health concerns.  Massachusetts Approved Soil Evaluator with experience in Title 5 soil testing, design and plan review preferred.  Registered Sanitarian or Registered Environmental Health Specialist desired.

School Crossing Guard

The Natick Police Department is seeking responsible applicants for the position of School Crossing Guard on both full-time and part-time (back up) basis.   

Applicants must be available to work Monday-Friday starting between 7:15 and 9:00 am and between 1:55 and 3:30 pm, depending on the post assignment.  Back up Guards must be willing to be on-call to fill in for scheduled (e.g., vacation day) and unscheduled (e.g., sick day) leave time for the regularly-scheduled School Crossing Guard.  Compensation is $18.98 per shift covered or $37.95 if a full day (2 shifts) is worked.  Safety equipment will be provided to individuals filling these vacancies.
