The Community Development Department administers and enforces land development and building regulations - regulations adopted by the Town of Natick and Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In addition, the Community Development Department provides assistance to the public in understanding these regulations and other development related issues.

Community Development Director	Patrick Reffett Telephone: 508-647-6445 Responsible for the day to day management of the Department, reviews all submitted plans, site plans and development plans for ordinance compliance, and communicates the technical requirements of the Natick Zoning By-laws to developers and consultants.
Building Commissioner	Michael Melchiorri Telephone: 508-647-6447 Oversees the Building Division of this Department as well as construction and alteration of all commercial projects and is the Zoning Enforcement Officer of the Town. The Building Commissioner certifies the inspection of buildings, schools, daycares, restaurants, multi-family dwellings and all public buildings.
Local Building Inspector	Michael Connelly Telephone: 508-647-6448 Oversees all residential construction projects in the Town and assists the Building Commissioner.
Electrical Inspector	Lawrence Forshner Scott Chavioius, Assistant Electrical Inspector Telephone: 508-647-6449 Mr. Forshner and Mr. Mills ensure that all electrical work conducted in town passes the necessary inspections. They communicate to electrical contractors the code requirements and keep track of all electrical permits pulled in town.
Plumbing Inspector	Robert Dempsey Telephone: 508-647-6453 Mr. Dempsey ensures that all plumbing and gas work conducted in town passes the necessary inspections. He communicates to the plumbing and gas contractors the code requirements and keeps track of all plumbing and gas permits pulled in town.
Administrative Assistant to the Conservation Commission	Susan Calhoun Telephone: 508-647-6450 Handles the administrative details and inspections for the Conservation Commission, including all Wetlands Protection permitting, Riverfront Protection, DEP's Stormwater Management Policy and enforcement orders.
Executive Assistant	Annie Greel Telephone: 508-647-6450 Coordinates the processing of all requests for the Building Department, communicates the Building Inspector's policies and procedures to the public, provides office management to the Community Development Office and provides staff assistance for the Downtown Parking Program.
Administrative Assistant to the Planning Board	Annie Greel Telephone: 508-647-6450 Responsible for the day to day aspects of processing development requests, coordinating submittal schedules, communicating development policies and procedures to the public and preparing development cases.
Administrative Assistant to the Zoning Board of Appeals	Pam Condlin Telephone: 508-647-6450 Responsible for the day to day aspects of processing development requests, coordinating submittal schedules, communicating development policies and procedures to the public and preparing development cases.
Conservation Agent	Bob Bois Telephone: 508-647-6452 Mr. Bois assists the Conservation Commission with their daily duties. He helps the Commission oversee and enforce the Town's Wetland By-Law and Regulations by attending site visits, investigating complaints, and educating the general public of conservation issues. Additionally, he is the Town's Environmental Compliance Officer.
Neighborhood Bus Coordinator	Judy Jones Telephone: 508-647-6446 Mrs. Jones runs the day-to-day operation of the Neighborhood Bus. She also communicates with the State and the MBTA regarding funding.
