Approval of the June 6, 2012 Safety Committee Minutes
OLD BUSINESS:
Boden Lane Community Group – TABLED. No update, West Natick Neighborhood Association and Boden Lane Community Group continue ongoing collaboration of the two community groups.
Superior Drive Delayed Light Citizens Request: TABLED pending further updates from Planning Board.
Center Street resident requesting a second means of egress for emergency purposes only out of Center Street. TABLED. In concept Safety Committee agrees, however, property under the jurisdiction of Conservation Committee. Lt. Lauzon to update.
Traffic Rules & Regulations: Update
Citizens request to lower the speed limit on Glen Street. Petitioners are Natick High School students Kayla Riley and Henry Deltano TABLED until October 30th meeting.
NEW BUSINESS:
Citizens Request to address sidewalk on South side of Pond Street between Campus Drive parking area and the cemetery. No curbing in that area and pedestrians do not feel safe as cars drive to close to sidewalk. (Attachment #1)
Request of Chief Sheridan to change address of Station 2 from 210 Union Street to 2 John Spruel Lane (Firefighter John Spruel died in the line of duty responding from that location to Sacred Heart Parish). (Attachment #2)
Request to install a stop sign at intersection of Euclid Ave and Longfellow Street. (Attachment #3)
Citizens Request to install pedestrian lights at Johnson School crosswalk on South Main (Attachment #4)
Request for additional Street Lights – Morency Street (Attachment #5)
