Chief Mannix will call the meeting to order and introduce the new representative from the school department, Mr. Timothy Shoemaker.
OLD BUSINESS:
Megonko Road Homeowner Access: Community Development Director,
Patrick Reffett, will update the
Committee regarding the Building
Inspector's recommendation.
Abandoned Property on Mill Street: Community Development Director,
Patrick Reffett, will update the
committee on the property owner's
tax status in an effort to determine whether the town should pursue acquisition of the property in order to secure proper demolition.
New Light/Crosswalk at the intersection Sgt. Lauzon was asked to contact the
of Rte. 135 and Rte. 27 District Highway Engineer in Worcester for recommendations about implementing a no right on red at this intersection.
Motor Vehicle Accidents at the "S" Curve The committee will revisit this issue
in front of 46 Burning Tree Road. in an effort to determine the safety of
motor vehicles traveling too fast around the curve in this roadway.

NEW BUSINESS:
Speed Limit of motor vehicles traveling on Chief Mannix received a letter
Pauline Drive from a resident of Pauline Drive
requesting a speed limit reduction,
as well as a request to remove the
recently installed speed control device. See Attachment B.
Request for address change from 142 Oak The Board of Selectmen received
Street to Otis Street an address change request from the property owners of 142 Oak Street. The Safety Committee must first make their recommendations to the Board of Selectmen as to whether or not a public hearing should be requesting on this matter. See Attachment C.
Request for additional signage for Farm Chief Mannix received an email
Hill Village from the President of the Woodland Village Homeowner's Corporation, requesting the installation of additional signage and speed bumps in this new development. See Attachment D.
Request for appropriate placement of snow Chief Mannix received a letter
once it's been plowed from the condominium explaining that in past snow storms,
complex located between School Street & Bee St. plows have been known to deposit large piles of snow onto the sidewalk at the corner of Bee and School Street, resulting in a safety hazard for pedestrians. See Attachment E.
